What is a good instrument to left gave the child to learn?
Kids 6 year old my is left hand and I would like him to try learning a musical instrument. Is it more difficult for children left hand to learn how to play musical instruments and what can give you advice about the best instrument to learn. I think he has a good ear for music (it was always able to sing in tune), but I am concerned about the practical. Any experiences would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you.
I am left-handed, and the only instrument I ever played was guitar (I did not stick with it though). I had to chords opposite from the way they were written, which was annoying, but not that big of a deal. I would not factor in his left hand in it at all, just be warned that instrments lefty are usually more expensive. Good luck! I love being a lefty, I I hope that your son will too! Teach him to embrace change, as annoying as it can be sometimes.
